"Once, at a particularly difficult time in my life, my friend sent me a simple quote that said:
I can't do this, but I'm doing it anyway
Therapy is soul work. It is being brave enough to say: I can’t do this on my own. Therapy provides a safe place to share your story… your sadness, anger, fears, insecurities, mistakes, triumphs… and instead of being met with judgment, being met with compassion and respect.
For children, therapy provides a safe place to share feelings, problem solve, and grow emotionally as an individual and within the context of family. Doing therapy with children holds a special place in my heart, and I believe it is one of my greatest strengths.
I have worked in mental health and social services for over a decade, providing services for children, families and adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, trauma, and abuse. Here at the Lincoln Wellness Group, I provide individual and family therapy for children, adults, and families. My therapy process is to meet you where you are, figure out where you want to go, and help you use your own life experiences, intuition, and strength to get there.
The Lincoln Wellness Group believes in a holistic approach to mental health, and I am committed to connecting you with other therapists in our practice as well as community providers.
